September is the month of the seeds and berries. Of various plants we want we can harvest seeds again next year. Some sow itself abundantly as the poppy and marigold but they often end up in unwanted places. It is best to harvest the seeds and sow next year in the places where we want them. Harvesting is best done on a sunny dry day. Store the seeds cool and dry, and note the name of the plant. At a plentiful harvest other gardeners we can also do a favor and perhaps there is trade with other garden seeds.
