If you have eaten too spicy (too much chilli, hot peppers, ...) Never drink water !!! which spread the fire alone. Eat a piece of bread and leave this in your mouth. This will absorb the fire.
Eat with the course a small piece of bread. The bread will neutralize the spicy oils.
I have learned from my daughter (she is from Malaysia) that if you want to eat hot food, then just eat white rice and the fire is much less.
