If you have an itchy scarf or sweater or coat of pure wool? Put it in the freezer overnight and the itch is gone! The larger the object, the longer it needs to be in the freezer.

If woolen clothes shrunk in the wash, you can try to reduce the damage by ironing the wool. This is done with a steam iron. Take a wet towel and place it on the jersey. Set the iron to steam. And then ironing and gently stretching. Make sure the towel stays wet. Do you have ironed the whole sweater, put it after lying out to dry so that the form can get. This is not a 100% guarantee of success. If the two sizes become smaller, it is probably too late.

Wool is self-cleaning and hardly needs to be washed. Airing outdoors or lacks sufficient. If you want off of bacteria you can woolen clothing or (bottom) blanket also put half an hour in the snow. Possibly on beat with a carpet beater. (In furs or blankets). For retrieving knock it off just as the snow, in a cool place (not the heating so! ) to let you dry and your wool is again completely fresh.

If a sweater is going felting can do the following: Lay the sweater on first flat surface. Take a razor blade in a holder, or going there with scaling in one direction (not back and forth) on the jersey.
