Stains of wax are not as difficult to remove as many people think. We start with our fingers or with the blunt side of a knife to get most wax removed. The stain that remains we cover with gray or other absorbent paper and iron the paper with a warm (not hot) iron. In 99 of 100 cases, the absorbent paper will take away the entire spot. If there still remain residual spots after this old-fashioned treatment, you can remove that easily with benzene on a wad of clean cotton wool.
