Rubber is dissolved in benzene and carbon disulfide. One of these resources is used to remove streaks of rubber soles of parquet or linoleum, but also the lines that were caused by the feet of a piece of furniture or equipment. Also patches of sticky tape gets away with benzene or carbon disulfide. Stains on carpets rubber plant, metal and lacquered wood can usually get away with a good warm soapy water.
